It’s a year of big system improvements at American Fidelity Assurance Company, and we’re proud to share that one of those system upgrades is coming soon!
Beginning April 30, your employees will experience new features when they manage their Flexible Spending Account (FSA) or Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) online—through an enhanced portal or with our mobile application, AFmobile®.
Among the new features, participants will be able to:
- Submit, view, and track claims
- Link documentation and receipts
- Pay providers directly from their account
- View account balances
- Select text or email alerts
- And more!
Tips for Filing Claims
There will be a short period in which employees won’t be able to use their Benefits Debit Card, access the online portal, or log into the mobile app. This window is from April 25—April 29.
During this time, participants may still file a paper claim form for reimbursement. Claims forms can be found at americanfidelity.com/fileaclaim. However, we recommend Dependent Care Account participants file any eligible claims before April 24 to help ensure reimbursement is processed as promptly as possible. Please note, services must have already been received for a claim to be eligible.
We’ll communicate directly with your employees about the system maintenance, new account features, and Benefits Debit Card details.
